Welcome to Tamerlane Place, a cozy garden oasis located just 4 minutes from Furman University and 10 minutes from Downtown Greenville! Our 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom home serves as a perfect jumping off place for exploring Greenville, Traveler's Rest (8 min), and our three state parks-- Paris Mountain (8 min), Jones Gap (30 min), and Table Rock (30 min). Pets are more than welcome to join you with a one-time pet fee, and will enjoy our fully fenced in backyard. We can't wait to have you!

Good to know

Tamerlane Place is a quiet oasis between Traveler's Rest and Downtown Greenville, marrying old and new styles to foster a beautiful, serene environment. Guests are welcome to park in our gravel driveway, and will then enter the front door via smart lock. The front door opens into a lovely living room, with modern sofas, an antique chair you'll never want to leave, and a smart TV, ready for you to log in to your streaming services (no cable). To the right is our large dining room, featuring seating for 4. The built-in cabinets are stocked with serving platters and games for your enjoyment. Off the dining room, you'll find a fully equipped kitchen, ready for you to whip up a splendid meal. The kitchen also includes a desk space for those who may need to get some work done. At the back of the home, a hallway joins the 2 bedrooms, with a hall bath in the middle, which contains a single vanity, traditional tub/shower combo and toilet. The bedroom to the right is our King room, featuring a King bed, nightstands, dresser, smart TV (no cable), and closet space. The bedroom to the left is our Queen room, featuring a Queen bed, nightstand, dresser, closet, and a reading chair with a floor lamp. The backyard is accessible via a large deck, which contains furniture for outdoor dining. The deck overlooks the beautiful fenced in yard that children and pets alike will enjoy playing in. *Pets are welcome in our home with a one-time fee, automatically applied when you add your pet as a guest during booking At Tamerlane Place, we've done all we can to ensure you feel right at home. We loved our stay! The icing on the cake was finding a puzzle board in the closet, on which we proceeded to solve a one thousand piece jigsaw puzzle during our downtime over the week.

Renee’s place had everything we needed for the weekend. Helpful items were provided for our dog, such as food bowl, poop bags, etc. The location within Greenville was great too. Just a short drive into downtown. Would certainly stay here again the next time we are in Greenville.

10/10 beyond exceptional host and property. I’ve been on Airbnb for over 15 years and Renee’s please was above and beyond. She went out of her way to make sure we felt comfortable in every single way. The details are actually astounding because most hosts buy junk at ikea and don’t care about the guests comfort. 2 things to note if I HAD to be not picky just bc I am the kind of person who likes to know every thing someone may have forgotten - the front porch light is always on and it shines into both bedrooms when the doors are open. I had my baby so had to leave the door cracked and the porch light was bright. I assume it’s for safety which is important! We felt very safe in the neighborhood. Also - The big king bedroom is exponentially hotter than the other rooms in the house. I had to close the heat vent even with the heat turned down to 64! It’s just the way old houses are set up. Thank you again Renee. Will book again!

Pet Friendly central location to all that Greenville has to offer. The space is very clean, quiet and comfortable. We traveled with a small dog and appreciated the fenced backyard. The neighborhood is walkable but not well lit at night and not near downtown. It is about a 10 minute drive to Downtown. We had some issues, human error, with the TV in the living room, but Renee was very responsive and sent over a director of operations who figured out how to fix the TV. He was very friendly and able to work around our schedule. This was the second time we stayed in this location and the 3rd time with a property managed by Renee. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

Such a cozy place, the inside is well furnished with adequate kitchen and dining space. My children loved the backyard which is fenced and a good size. Our hosts were incredibly responsive to all of our needs. Should we need a place in Greenville again, we would definitely come back.

The place was exactly as described. We enjoyed it there. We felt very comfortable as did our Murphy boy. The yard was great for him to stretch and run around. The added treats and dog towels were a great idea. The location was perfect being close to the city and to travelers rest. Renee certainly did her homework when she created the guidebook. We loved riding bikes (Murphy too) through the swamp rabbit trail, walking the city and around the falls. We definitely would love to go back.

Our stay was wonderful. Renee was so friendly, provided easy check in and check out instructions, and the place was absolutely perfect. The house is less than 10 minutes from Downtown Greenville so the location is ideal. Would definitely recommend and we would love to come back!!

A quick Uber is available for a night on the town, but public transportation is still not up to snuff in Greenville. For the best trip, we recommend bringing or renting a vehicle.
